Our daughters taking selfies in Ganpati decorations
Where are we heading?

Ganpati decorations and Muslim girls taking selfies!

This is an incident from just yesterday after Asr. One of our dear scholar friends, who himself narrated this incident and insisted that a short note must be written on it, was passing near the Shivaji statue with his wife. During that time, his eyes fell on a few burqa-clad, open-faced Muslim girls among the crowd present in the Ganpati decorations.

Those girls, with great joy and carelessness, would sometimes move forward, then turn around, sometimes step back and stop making different facial expressions, and then in the presence of non-mahram men, they would take selfies in different poses with the Ganpati decorations. After that, they would open the pictures on their mobile phones, look at them themselves and also show them to their friends.

This incident is from a city where big talks have remained only for the sake of saying; a city of mosques, minarets, madrasas and khanqahs, but complaints are heard from everywhere.

Where the daughters had made Islamic culture, modesty and chastity their way of life from childhood to old age, today those same values are seen being torn apart. Those daughters have also changed and those honorable parents have also become very few, except what Allah wills.

I wonder what the parents of these free-spirited girls were doing at that time, when their daughters were openly tarnishing their Islamic identity, chastity and culture in this way?

Forgive me, but if your daughters can go out so freely without your permission and violate their Shariah culture and chastity in this way, then parents must definitely reflect on their responsibility.

If in the name of school, college or tuition, with an Android mobile in hand, riding a bike, girls can freely put their Shariah culture and civilization behind them, then it is a moment of reflection for the parents.

Cursed be such freedom!

Cursed be such lack of upbringing!

Cursed be such a life!

Cursed be such madness and immorality in the name of education!

If such education is taking a person away from Shariah and modesty, then I will continue to raise my voice against such education morning and evening, and will say that better than such education is the education that keeps a person connected to Deen, morality and modesty.

If education takes you away from Allah, then education is also a fitna.

Property, children and estate are also a fitna.

If raised for falsehood, even the sword is a fitna.

What to say of the sword, even the slogan of Takbeer is a fitna.

Allama Iqbal

May Allah Ta'ala grant correct understanding to the sons and daughters of our nation and give parents the ability to properly train their children. Ameen.
