Tahajjud and the Leaders of the Ummah
O you who claims the leadership of the Ummah from the pulpits, who has become a merchant of the Ummah's pain on social media, who shouts slogans to awaken the Ummah in gatherings, but when in the last part of the night Allah descends to the lowest heaven and calls out "Is there anyone to ask?" you lie dead in deep sleep!

Leadership is not attained through rosaries, it is attained through Tahajjud.
The leader who does not stand before his Lord at night, how will he make the Ummah stand during the day?
The eye that did not weep at night out of the fear of Allah, how will that eye weep in the grief of the Ummah?
History is a witness:
Umar bin Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, was the ruler of half the world, yet at night he would walk through the streets of Madinah weeping.
The camp of Salahuddin Ayyubi would echo with the weeping of Tahajjud at night, only then was the conquest of Al-Quds granted during the day.
Muhammad Al-Fatih conquered Constantinople on the night before which he had wept profusely in Tahajjud.
And you?
Your leadership is limited to Facebook Live, your bravery is limited to shouting in front of a mic, your piety is limited to grooming your beard in front of people.
Remember!
Allah does not need your followers, Allah does not need your slogans.
Allah wants that leader who soaks his prayer mat with his tears in the loneliness of the night.
The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, whose all past and future sins were forgiven, his feet would swell in Tahajjud. So who are you? What infallible one are you that you do not need Tahajjud?
If you are far from Tahajjud, then abandon the claim of leading the Ummah.
You are not a leader, you are a burden. You are not a guide, you are a spectacle.
The Ummah does not need a speaker, it needs a man of the prayer mat.
The Ummah does not need an orator, it needs a Mujahid who stays awake at night.
Arise! Otherwise this Ummah will throw you along with your slogans into the dustbin of history.
