Young Daughters! Protect Your Own Honor Yourself
An incident from some time ago.
I was passing near a refreshment point, I saw a crowd and stopped. Inside, a girl was sitting holding her head and crying bitterly. Everyone was worried, no one could understand anything. The girl herself was not able to tell anyone anything, she was just crying loudly.
I went near the girl, put my hand on her head and said in a very soft tone:
My daughter, whatever the problem is, tell me truthfully, InshaAllah I will help you completely. After a lot of persuasion and consolation, the girl started speaking.
The girl said while crying:
Uncle, I became friends with a boy from Pindi on the internet. He kept promising to marry me. I made the mistake of leaving home on the pretext of a college trip. He took me to an empty house, forced me to stay at night and today on the pretext of food he left me here and messaged me that, I have done what I had to do, now go home and delete my number.
Hearing this, my heart was shaken. But I decided to handle this case.
I said, my daughter, what had to happen has happened, you have learned a lesson. I would only like to explain to you that you should forget this incident as a terrible nightmare and not mention it to anyone. This will be better for you. I will talk to your father and InshaAllah I take the responsibility of reaching you safely to your home. You give me your father's number. I took her father's number and called him.
I said, Sir, your daughter is at this place at this moment and is completely safe. The poor girl had come on a trip with her college fellows but unfortunately she was left behind from the vehicle. Now she was very worried and also very scared about how she will go home now and how her family will treat her. I have contacted you to get your daughter to you. And I would also like to make a request to you that you should not take this matter to the college administration. On this the gentleman said, Sir what are you saying, the college people left my daughter miles away and I should not take any action against them, what kind of thing are you saying.
I said, Sir, when you take this matter to the college, the matter will be opened. No doubt your daughter is innocent, but when your close relatives and dear ones will hear about this incident, they will make various kinds of stories. Fingers will start to be pointed at your daughter and then tomorrow you have to marry her too. Therefore my advice to you is that your daughter's better future lies in your silence.
After my argument, the girl's father also agreed with my opinion and in one breath showered me with many prayers and promised that he will neither scold his daughter nor talk to anyone about this incident.
After this call, I again addressed the frightened girl. Look my daughter, you have learned the most terrible lesson of life from this mistake. If this were a civilized society, I would have advised you to take legal action against the boy, but my daughter, we are living in a jungle of humans. Here, while getting the boy punished, your future will become completely dark. Therefore, forget what has happened and start your life again.
And yes, do one thing, give me the address and contact number of this boy, we will definitely teach him a lesson in our own way. On this the girl said in a choked voice:
May Allah keep you happy, uncle, I will pray for you for the rest of my life. You have saved me from humiliation and disgrace. I do not know how to thank you.
We respectfully seated that daughter in the bus, told her father the bus number and time and remained in constant contact until the girl reached home. Only then did we breathe a sigh of relief.
Dear daughters,
Never trust the false promises of unknown boys. After temporary pleasure, they snatch away honor and leave. If you like a boy, then take your parents into confidence. After the consent of your parents, marry with your choice. Apart from Nikah, befriending any boy, meeting him in private, listening to his sweet talk is such a pit that no woman who has fallen into it has ever returned with honor.
Respected readers, make Nikah easy, this is the Sunnat of Rasool.
When a daughter is forced to hide something from you, then big tragedies will be born.
Honor and dignity is not in show off, but peace, contentment and happiness of children is hidden.
Wisdom is in saving the honor of your daughter and yourself.
May Allah protect all our daughters.
